We've seen the Emerald Buddha at the Grand Palace and the Reclining Buddha at the Temple of the Reclining Buddha.....what a sight they are....gorgeous beyond belief!  The mosaic work on the buildings are spectacular.  You have to have your shoulders covered when you go into the temples and also have to take off your shoes.  So the day we went to the Grand Palace I was wearing a sleeveless top so I had to put on Marcus' parker to walk through the Palace in the unrelenting heat.  It was so humid and we were drenched when we left.  The traffic is horrible.  You go bumper to bumper through the streets.  Fortunately the cabs are cheap.  We went for the best mani and pedi that I have ever had....2 hrs. and 45mins. of nirvana.  We were like limp dolls when we left the place...so relaxed and beautified.

    Oh may God, girl these photos are terrific...I hope you get inspired to do a budda mosaic when you get back. Keep us posted, I'm loving it that we can hear about your trip while you're there. I miss you and I'm so glad you're there having what appears to be great time....love to you. Nedra
